I've been reading a recent Gram Parsons bio, "Twenty Thousand Roads: The Ballad of Gram Parsons and His Cosmic American Music."‎ If you remember, Parsons turned Keith Richards on to American country music, and he hung out at NellcĂ´te during the recording of "Exile." Listen to that record enough and you'll hear Parsons' influence here and there ... and in between (even though Mick hated him).

Yes. The friendship and influence Parsons had on Keith Richards is a fascinating one. On the surface, they seemed quite different, but they had a deep bond there for a while.
