Why does Kentucky Fried Chicken use the song 'Sweet Home Alabama' in most of its radio and television commercials?
After all, it is Kentucky Fried Chicken. What's the connection with Alabama?
I don't get it.
Just another example of 'the man' keeping me down.

It ain't Kentucky Fried Chicken anymore. It's "KFC." KFC is now state/region neutral; thus, "California Girls" could be a slogan for KFC.
I want KFC to once again become Kentucky Fried Chicken. And I want to see Colonel Sanders in Kentucky Fried Chicken ads. And I want the outside of Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants to once again retain certain features of antebellum structures.
Is that too much to ask?!

A couple of years ago, KFC had one of the worst commercials I can recall ever seeing. In it, an animated Col. Sanders was rappin' about why people should eat KFC. That's right: Col. Sanders was rappin'. Truly chilling.
